Estimating & Sales
Fire Pro can help you with any pricing requirements. Whether it be a simple budgetary estimate or a complex design/build project, we have the expertise and experience to provide you with reliable numbers to work with. A large percentage of our business is commercial, industrial, healthcare, and retail. With our company, the project managers are involved with the project design and sometimes are the primary designers. This eliminates miscommunication and keeps the project manager uniquely involved with the project, both from a contractual and technical aspect. We feel this offers better control and a smoother, more profitable project for us and our customer.
The design of fire protection systems is an intricate job aimed at saving labor/installation time and money. Design includes being knowledgeable of codes and requirements of differing agencies and the ability to implement requirements from specifications and contract documents into sets of submittals of shop drawings, hydraulic calculations and equipment lists. Here at Fire Pro, our designers are professionally trained on the latest BIM integrated 3D CAD systems (AutoSprink), are NICET certified or pursuing certification, and regularly attend continuing education events sponsored by company associations such as American Fire Sprinkler Association and National Fire Protection Association.
All installers go through an application process which includes drug-screen, MVR check, and reference check. Our installers (sprinkler fitters) go through the AFSA Apprenticeship Program (607.5 credit hours) before becoming a journeyman/foreman. They then begin the AFSA Foremanship Course (144 credit hours). Additionally, training events are scheduled throughout the year to keep installers aware of new requirements and technologies, and to promote professionalism and a sense of pride in their work.
Inspection and maintenance of fire protection systems are crucial to their reliability. Incidents where buildings equipped with fire protection systems have burned were the result of improper installation, or they were not properly inspected and maintained (most commonly the latter). We can offer inspection services and testing for all types of fire protection systems. Our inspectors are professionally trained through AFSA courses and NICET certified or pursuing certification for Inspection and Testing of Fire Protection Systems.
